The Fifth Trust

Come along for an opportunity to browse some incredible artwork created by The Fifth Trust students – adults with learning disabilities, which is free to browse and be inspired. There will be a team of staff & students on site during the below slots to help with any questions you may have.

From impressive canvases to striking photography, prints and more, The Fifth Trusts student’s creations will be on display throughout the three days.

Hale Exhibition

18th, 23rd, 24th & 25th July

Community Art Kent will be hosting an exhibition focused around Creative Health, particularly for anyone over the age of 55.

It will include work from people based in both Dover & Folkestone. In particular it will have submissions from Community Art Kent’s ‘Follow on Folke Art’ and Dover Smarts Art of Age ‘Recycled Teenagers’.

It will be running on the 18th, 23rd, 24th & 25th of July from 12:30pm- 4:30pm.

SmART Summer Show

7th - 31st August

This August, we're opening our doors for the Smart Summer Show, a community exhibition here at the gallery.

We invited people from the local community, along with those who come along to our weekly gallery groups, to take part through an open call. The theme this year is How Dover Makes Me Feel.

We're holding a private view on the 7th of August, 5pm until 7pm, at 7 Bench Street, Dover, CT16 1JH. There will be nibbles and refreshments on the night. As we're a sober space, the refreshments will reflect that too.

The exhibition will then stay up until the end of August. So if you're wandering past while the gallery is open, do pop in and have a look.
